GIBSON TANNER RABIN LLP is a new corporate and commercial law firm serving clients in the Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Corporate / Commercial Solicitor at the firm's office at the Sun Life Centre (Ottawa) and based in the Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area with a salary of $180,000 to $200,000 per annum (including bonus) with a August 31, 2026, start-date. The solicitor will draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and corporate documentation, including shareholder agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and governance materials. Daily responsibilities include advising clients on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, risk management, and transaction-related matters. The role also involves coordinating with other practice areas on matters such such as commercial real estate, employment, and conveyancing, managing files from inception to completion, and maintaining clear, timely communication with clients. The solicitor will participate in business development initiatives, contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, and support the firm’s commitment to high-quality, client-focused service.
