Job description
Support and advance ergonomics as the Ergonomics & Risk Assessment Officer, dedicated to preventing MSDs and enhancing employee performance in a healthcare environment. This role prioritizes compliance and safety. As an Ergonomics & Risk Assessment Officer, your primary responsibility will involve coordinating risk management programs while advising on and revising policies for MSD prevention. Your expertise will ensure compliance with health safety regulations while also conducting ergonomic assessments and designing effective workplace solutions. The role requires collaboration with various teams to assess risks and educate staff on safe practices. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement policies for MSD prevention • Conduct ergonomic assessments and physical demands analyses • Collaborate on workspace designs to enhance ergonomics • Monitor trends and maintain safety statistics • Train staff on injury prevention techniques Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field like Kinesiology • 2+ years in ergonomic program delivery • Knowledge of occupational health and safety laws • Strong skills in training and facilitation • Valid driver's license and vehicle access Focus on wellness and safety while fostering a harmonious workplace atmosphere in this critical position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
