Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment including oil changes lubrication and tire services

• Drain and replace engine oil in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards

• Inspect top up and replace essential vehicle fluids including coolant brake fluid power steering fluid and windshield washer fluid

• Lubricate vehicle components including wheel bearings and other moving parts to support safe and reliable operation

• Replace common maintenance items such as air filters oil filters windshield wipers and batteries

• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections including brake measurements and underbody inspections and accurately document findings through work orders

• Inspect tire condition tread depth wear patterns and tire pressure recommending repairs or replacements as required

• Repair minor tire punctures replace valve stems and mount and balance new tires

• Maintain accurate service records while following company procedures and safety standards

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing tire services oil changes and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment

• Must possess a full valid drivers licence and be able to provide current Standard and CVOR Drivers Abstracts with an acceptable driving record.

• 35 years of related experience is considered an asset

• Previous experience in a similar Tire & Lube Technician or automotive service role

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to inspect and identify maintenance requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Experience completing work orders and maintenance documentation

• College trade or technical education is considered an asset

• First-year 310T or 310S apprenticeship or certification is considered an asset

Work Conditions:

• Training schedule: Monday to Friday day shifts for approximately 2 weeks

• Regular schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. following the successful completion of training

• Overtime may be required based on operational needs

• Work is performed in both shop and outdoor environments including exposure to varying weather conditions noise dirt and dust

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with lifting aids available for heavier loads

• Occasional travel to pick up parts and supplies

Compensation

$27.40 - $36.35 per hour

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level industry experience and work location.

Remote site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
