AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Contact with students: The TA will be required to attend class to assist with the running of in-class activities, aiding the students therein.
Requirements:
Graduate-level course in biostatistics, and corresponding comfort with statistical techniques (descriptive analysis, parameter estimation and hypothesis testing as well as nonparametric tests, power calculation and regression modeling).
Comfort with these topics, as well as broader data management in at least one statistical software or programming language (e.g., R or SAS).
Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a particular emphasis on the communication of statistical results and concepts.
Preferred qualifications: experience with both R and SAS is considered an asset.
