Job description
Our client, a leader in the defense and aerospace industry, is seeking DLPS programmer analysts to join their team. As a DLPS programmer analysts, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting cross-functional development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: DLPS programmer analysts Location: 100% On-site at Riverside Campus Ottawa Pay Range: 90-95/hr What's the Job? Translate high-level architectural goals into detailed technical specifications for embedded systems. Develop and optimize low-level code in C, C++, and Python focusing on hardware-software interoperability. Implement and manage industrial and avionics communication protocols such as UART, RS-232, Modbus, and MIL-STD-1553B. Design and debug multi-threaded applications, ensuring concurrency and memory management best practices. Lead technical discussions, coordinate with solution architects, and mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative environment. What's Needed? 8–10 years of experience in embedded systems and low-level programming. Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages. Deep understanding of system engineering principles and message-passing protocols. Proven leadership skills in guiding cross-functional development teams.
