Your Role as Contract Administrator:

Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As the Contract Administrator, your role will include:

• Managing and tracking incoming and/or outgoing project tasks during the construction phase of projects.
• Taking ownership of construction issue resolution, leading coordination across disciplines to drive timely and effective outcomes.
• Coordinating with Owners, Project Managers, Discipline Leads, Sub-consultants and General Contractors to track project schedules, as well as being responsible for the submission of deliverables.
• Working with owners standards in additional to other industry standards and codes.
• Conducting field reviews and contract administration duties, including populating and updates to various logs/schedules such as daily site reviews, weekly progress reports and progress payments.
• Writing and reviewing reports, specifications, and other documents to ensure adherence to contract documents and quality standards.
• Reviewing project shop drawings for adherence to the project specifications.
• Preparing sketches and responses to contractor questions, changes, and supplemental instructions.
• Performing general administration of various forms of construction contracts.
• Ensuring compliance with contract standards and participating in construction progress meetings.
• Travelling as required across Canada.
