:We are seeking a part-time professor to teach a course in an introduction data analytics and visualizations for students in the Bachelors of Multidisciplinary Design program in the Faculty of Engineering, with a focus on Excel and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and deliver engaging lectures on data analytics and visualization techniques
• Create hands-on exercises using Excel and Power BI
• Assess student performance through assignments and projects
• Provide constructive feedback to support student learning
• Hold office hours to assist students outside of class time

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Fluency in French (written and spoken)
- Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Extensive knowledge of data analytics and visualization principles
- Knowledgeable in statistics.
- Skilled in databases manipulation and database structures
- Comfortable navigating multiple open data sources.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in data analytics or business intelligence
Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, R, Python
