Providing superior quality customer service and demonstrating knowledge of maintenance and rental operations, the building manager will oversee the key responsibilities of tenant services, property operations, property administration and managerial responsibilities.
Peterson is looking for an experienced Building Manager to join our team in handling tenant relations and administration for one of our new and upcoming properties.
Reporting to the Director, Asset Management Residential, the Building Manager supports the Residential team in handling a wide range of tenant services, property management and operations, and administrative needs.
This role will assist with conducting suite inspections, maintaining good tenant relationships and proactively anticipating the needs of our tenants and our property managers.
This position will also be responsible for arranging and coordinator with trades such as carpet cleaners, painters, electricians, and plumbers when necessary, while maintaining the budget, and dispatching service requests and work orders.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written administrative skills to ensure notices and letters for tenants are delivered accurately and on time.
The position will also schedule meetings and distributions of parking stalls, storage lockers and booking of boardrooms, creating meeting agendas and follow up with action plans and minutes.
This role will also assist the property manager with completing forms and reports that is required in order to remain compliant with the Residential Tenancy Act.
As the preferred candidate, you have a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in Building Management and strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Acy.
Salary Range : $60,000 $65,000
