Job description
Our client is a mid-sized freight brokerage business that have been in business for more that 25 years. Due to continued growth they are seeking a strong Senior Dispatcher to join their dispatch team. Ideal candidates will bring: - Minimum 5 years of dispatch experience with at least 50% of that experience FTL - Full Truckload freight (dry van/reefer/flat deck) - Minimum 25% of your experience should also be US Transborder activity - Freight capacity sourcing - Freight negotiation/purchasing (transit time, service standard pricing) - Track and Trace expertise with market tools - Incident management and recovery / resolution - Professional work standards - Strong organization with the ability to multitask - Well developed interpersonal communication skills with both external and internal customers - Positive energy and a conscientious, can-do attitude This opportunity is 100% in-office and comes with a very competitive total compensation package.
