Your place in our story

The Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring the grounds are maintained clean and serviced.

Heres how youll contribute

Plants trims administering pesticides and any other function related to the design and upkeep of external grounds and landscaping; Installs plants and other objects (e.g. rock cement lighting furniture water etc.) on external grounds

Maintains the grounds through irrigation trimming pruning raking mulching litter pick ups etc.;

Uses equipment such as rakes shovels pruning and handsaws axes as well as chain saws power lawnmowers and snow blowers when required;

Routinely reviews exterior grounds to ensure everything is maintained;

Inspects directs and liaisons with various contractors responsible for the building (i.e. cleanliness landscaping interior plant maintenance and snow removal) when required;

Arranges and oversees recycling and waste programs including disposal of food waste cardboard and shredded paper;

Arranges seasonal decorations for the grounds and exterior when required;

Participates in the Health & Safety Committee meetings and investigates action items pertaining to daily building operations;

Other duties within the scope spirit and purpose of the job as requested by management.

Education:High school is required. A University Degree or College Diploma is considered an asset.
Experience:A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of relevant work experience.

Microsoft Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint) Outlook SAP & Yardi

Hiring pay range:$18-20 per hour
