Your Role as Commercial Architect:
Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As the Commercial Architect, your role will include:
- Leading projects and managing multiple design teams while working alongside the Discipline Director and JLR leadership group to drive projects forward.
- Collaborating with team members as part of an integrated project team, including execution, design, and reporting.
- Engaging through all project stages, from the definition, through planning, design, and construction, using your demonstrated abilities to recognize opportunities, understand client needs and manage and deliver projects.
- Working on various commercial projects with a multi-national client including but not limited to: Complex renovations including those to active facilities New build projects ranging in construction value from $3M – $50M Deferred maintenance renovations projects
- Participating in the preparation, specifications, and contract documents.
- As required, travelling between JLR offices across Ontario for training purposes.
- Travelling across Canada to meet the needs of the projects will be required.
