Optical Components Test Engineering plays a critical role in enabling reliable, high‑volume manufacturing of Ciena’s optical component technologies. This position partners closely with Research and Development (R&D), manufacturing partners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, automated test solutions that support both sustaining products and new product introduction (NPI). The role offers the opportunity to directly influence product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction through data‑driven test engineering excellence.Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
