THE ROLE

As a Lead Digital Analyst, you will be an advocate for MEC members and customers, understanding their experience across digital channels and leveraging data to improve the customer experience.

  • Identify insights and opportunities to drive the optimization of mec.ca through the proactive use of digital data, using Google Analytics and other tools as required.
  • Design, build, and regularly deliver reports via Excel and other tools as required, driving automation of reporting where feasible (e.

g. Python, SQL, Adobe Analytics Workspace, Google Data Studio)

  • Make use of effective data visualization and interactive dashboards to enlighten and drive action while increasing data literacy and confidence of users.
  • Monitor and report on customer feedback collected through online tools (e.g. Qualimetrics)
  • Educate, support and train colleagues and internal partners in their use of digital analytics to answer their business questions, working cross-departmentally
  • Raise data integrity issues and new tracking requirements to implementation teams within and outside of the department, writing requirements for more efficient implementation and maintenance.
  • Support the creation of data informed hypotheses and generate new ideas for A / BTesting as well as analyze test results and interpret meaning.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support Digital Marketing ,Brand and Information Systems partners as needed
  • Foster a measurement culture and contribute to analytics documentation (i.e. data dictionary, variable map) through knowledge management tools such as Confluence and automate where appropriate

preference is to have someone based in the lower mainland. However, we will consider remote candidates, with the right experience.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in digital analytics
  • Experience with SQL, scripting languages and relational databases
  • Experience with GA-UA and GA4
  • You are well versed in data visualization principles
  • You are a strong communicator, written and verbal
