:This seminar course is a hybrid of law and public policy that uses active learning techniques. From a public policy perspective it examines the economic, political, social, and organizational theories of regulation, a key legal/policy instrument of government. From a legal perspective, this course examines the legal parameters that constrain regulation-making and expose regulations to legal challenge.Posting limited to:

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

The Common Law Section is seeking candidates who are leaders in the legal profession. An LL.B., J.D., or equivalent is required for this position. Membership in the Law Society of Ontario, or equivalent, in good standing is also required. The successful candidate will have significant practical experience in the area of regulatory law. Prior teaching experience will be considered an asset.
The Common Law Section reserves the right to select a candidate who does not fully meet each of these requirements, where the candidate’s selection would be beneficial to the program, the course, the students or for a related reason.
