Senior QA Engineer
Client : Global Bank
Hybrid : 3 days / week on-site in Toronto
Contract : 12 months w. extensions to 3 years
Rate : $72.96 / hour
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5-7 years of professional experience in test automation with 8-10 years of overall industry experience
- Proficiency in Testing Process methodologies, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), JIRA, SQL databases, API testing, Agile methodologies, Oracle SQL / PLSQL and Core Java development / J2EE.
- Expertise in complex SQL and query plans
- Experience leading a team of QAs is a plus
- Prior experience in the banking domain is essential
Nice to Have Skills & Experience :
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with enterprise DevOps and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with Octane is an advantage.
Job Description :
Insight Global is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join the team of one of our largest global banking clients. The successful candidate will be working in an Agile environment supporting a corporate banking application.
Experience working with onshore / offshore teams is a must. Day to day activities include, but are not limited to :
- Collaborate with onshore / offshore teams to support a corporate banking application.
- Lead test planning and case reviews at a team level.
- Work with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify and develop automation opportunities within the testing process.
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium / Cucumber with Java.
- Generate suitable test data for various scenarios while maintaining data integrity across environments.
- Execute both manual and automated test suites meticulously; record results accurately for defect triaging.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
