We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and personable GDS specialist for our Travel Management company clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service.

As a Senior Support Specialist you will :
- Be the first point of contact for customer questions and complaints during the implementation phase
- Respond to Travel Management Companies questions from senior management, Reservation managers or front line agents regarding our platform functionality
- Troubleshoot issues and engage the appropriate team for resolution
- Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address any client concerns in a timely manner
- Work with the Customer Success Manager to develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
- Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed
- Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels and operational excellence as it relates to the GDS services
- Assist with testing platform GDS functionality to ensure our platform is returning results on par with the GDS
- Assist with planning, production and maintenance of training videos for agents
- Assist with onboarding new TMC customers
- Assist with training travel agents and reservation managers
- Assist with product design and development of new features targeted at agents
- Assist with the design of new features and gather feedback from agents
- Assist with development of new platform features such as NDC, cancellations, exchanges
Skills and Qualifications :
- 7+ years experience working with a North American Travel Management Company
- 5+ years experience working with a GDS system (Travelport, Sabre, Amadeus) - multi GDS preferred
- Extensive knowledge of GDS / MidOffice / BackOffice and QC systems used by TMCs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
- A strong focus on relationships with the ability to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
- Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Possess a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
- Deep understanding of the TMC environment combined with industry experience to assist travel agents in adopting our platform
- Ability to think creatively to come up with solutions for clients
- Ability to present one on one or group training for travel agents
- Willingness to learn new systems as required
