We're seeking a passionate and innovative Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be offering residents a wide range of daily activities that reflects our vision to improve and maintain our residents' quality of life. What You'll Do :

As a key team member of our team at The Dunfield, you will be responsible for :

• Inspiring and motivating residents to participate in programs and excursions.
• Organizing and coordinating activities for active daily living of our resident population.
• Developing and implementing unique, meaningful, personalized programs for a growing seniors residence that breaks the status quo of typical retirement activities.
• Providing activities orientation to new residents.
• Updating Residents birthday list, on a monthly basis.
• Planning our quarterly Meet and Greet.
• Acting as the go to person on various resident led Committees Groups.
• Supporting Activities assistant on Memory Care with daily programs.
• Assisting with creating a monthly calendar of events on a tight timeline.
• Improving the intellectual and physical health of the residents.
• Identifying the interests of the resident population to tailor programs around these desires.
• Assisting with escorting residents to and from activities both on and off site.
• Maintaining a clean and organized activities environment and supply room.
• Documenting daily attendance, progress notes and departmental observations.
• Developing & maintaining a rapport with staff, residents, resident families and volunteers.
