Role Overview

The Vice President of Exploration will play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the company's resource base, overseeing all exploration activities across its asset portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving discovery, resource expansion, and delivering technical excellence in exploration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement the company’s exploration strategy to identify and prioritize high-potential exploration opportunities.
• Portfolio Management : Oversee exploration programs across operating assets, near-mine opportunities, and greenfield projects to ensure a balanced pipeline of projects.
• Technical Excellence : Lead teams in designing, implementing, and managing exploration programs, ensuring best practices in geology, geophysics, and geochemistry are adhered to.
• Budget Oversight : Manage exploration budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet the company’s growth objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with executive leadership, operations, and investor relations to communicate exploration results and growth potential.
• Team Development : Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier exploration talent, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
