Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Computer & Network Technician who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to perform hands-on, onsite installations. This role supports day-to-day client operations, escalated support tickets, infrastructure projects, and physical installations of IT and networking equipment.
The ideal candidate is an excellent troubleshooter, a strong communicator, and someone who thrives in an MSP environment where priorities shift quickly and client impact matters.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for servers, networks, cloud, and end users
- Handle ticket support during business hours; occasional after-hours work
- Perform onsite installations and maintenance
- Support infrastructure projects and assist senior technicians
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and identity management
- Manage Windows Server environments, backups, and virtualization
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and diagrams
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year in an MSP or similar IT support environmentStrong troubleshooting skills across Windows, networking, and cloud systemsExperience with :Microsoft 365 (Business Premium / Enterprise), Entra ID, Intune, Conditional AccessWindows Server administration, modernization, and lifecycle upgradesMicrosoft Hyper-V (host management, failover planning, performance tuning)Core networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, VLANs, firewall policy, site-to-site & client VPNs)Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) platforms and software-based backup solutionsRemote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platforms and IT documentation systemsUnderstanding of WAN connectivity, fiber circuits, and redundancyNice to Have
Exposure to virtualization and cloud platforms (Hyper-V, Azure, or similar)Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell familiarity preferred)
Working knowledge of backup and recovery processes for servers and business dataFamiliarity with common MSP tools, workflows, and service delivery modelsCertifications (Preferred, Not Required)
