Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to work within the IT Grid Modernization Department. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Manager to ensure the execution strategy is being
observed and project deliverables and tasks are achieved.

Responsibilities
Accountability
- Identify all stakeholders and establish productive and trustful relationship with all stakeholders.
- Identification, understanding and documentation of system / application architecture and integration
- Ensure detailed functional and non-functional requirements are gathered and documented from stakeholders
- Ensure current and future environment states are documented
- Responsible for tracking scope, schedule and cost changes
- Identification and mitigation of risks
- Liaise with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve project issues
- Accountable for production of high-quality documentation including all management documents
- Participate in Risk, Issue assessment and Lesson learned recording.
- Provide coordination, tracking, reporting on project execution
Qualifications
Competency Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a project manager in IT or related field with emphasis on project management and execution.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of IT technologies / infrastructure.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focus : Experience with projects impacting Bargaining Units (Union Environment) an Asset
- Project management : Expert knowledge of Project Management Principals
- Proven track record in delivering for successful projects in a tight timeline
- Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong problem solving, planning and organization skills
Technical Competency Requirements
o Geospatial Information Systems
o SCADA and or ADMS platforms
o Knowledge and understanding of enterprise level Business application
upgrades / implementation
o Able to understand IT design solutions to meet business needs
