Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical automation equipment, packaging lines, VFDs, motor starters, relays, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical machinery.
• Diagnose PLC system faults (Allen Bradley preferred), inspecting I/O modules, HMI interfaces, sensors, wiring, servo systems, and industrial communication networks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, conduct routine machinery inspections, and accurately complete work orders and labor logs within the maintenance management system.
• Work safely on three-phase electrical distribution systems up to 600V, switchgear, transformers, and disconnects while adhering strictly to Arc Flash safety boundaries.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), environmental guidelines, and company safety protocols, reporting any hazards promptly to management.
Qualifications
• Valid 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician license with proven manufacturing troubleshooting experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of control circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, ladder logic, single-line diagrams, electrical blueprints, and test meters.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, SCADA platforms, VFDs, servo drives, and high-voltage power distribution up to 600V safely.
• Comfortable working at heights, operating independently with minimal supervision, and collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
• Prior maintenance experience within the food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing industry is considered a significant professional asset.
