OBJET ET DESCRIPTION DU POSTE :
Relevant du (de la) gestionnaire, partenariats en finances - fonctions corporatives, l'analyste principal(e) comprend et analyse les résultats financiers des unités corporatives telles que : Finance, Informatique, RH, Ingénierie et plus.
L'analyste principal(e) collabore avec l'équipe de planification et analyse financières (P et AF) et les dirigeants nord-américains pour surveiller le rendement financier, préparer les budgets et les prévisions et effectuer les analyses financières afin de faciliter la prise de décisions et d'atteindre les objectifs stratégiques des secteurs.
L'analyse principal(e) travaille étroitement avec les partenaires d'affaires qui sont des conseillers fiables qui influencent les décisions, apportent des informations concrètes et remettent en question les secteurs et les fonctions pour s'assurer que les meilleures décisions financières soient prises afin d'optimiser les objectifs stratégiques pour l'Amérique du Nord.
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS :
Comprendre les exigences du secteur, les activités, les priorités et la stratégie des équipes des fonctions corporatives afin de leur fournir les rapports appropriés pour appuyer les décisions d'affaires stratégiques.
Coordonne, analyse, valide et coordonne les rapports financiers hebdomadaires, notamment en fournissant des explications concernant les écarts entre les données réelles, le budget et les prévisions, puis effectuer des enquêtes sur ces écarts.
Effectuer l'analyse des causes profondes et des plans d'action découlant des écarts financiers entre le rendement attendu ou prévu et le rendement réel.
Aide le gestionnaire, partenariats en finances - fonctions corporatives, par rapport à diverses analyses financières spéciales touchant des projets particuliers : Van, Tir et période de remboursement.
Aider avec le développement des capacités et l'élaboration des outils et des rapports pour permettre à la direction financière de guider et d'améliorer la prise de décision dans l'organisation.

Job Responsibilities
The Senior Project Analyst will oversee large, complex, multi-year initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end reporting and business analysis of projects that drive business improvements and strategic objectives for the IPEX Group of Companies.
We are looking for someone who will act as the go-to person for all aspects of project management reporting and activities associated with the monitoring of the project lifecycle.
This individual will tie projects back to business goals to implement the company strategy. The team is seeking out someone who will give acute attention to detail coupled with the ability to see the big picture, be resourceful, have risk-management capabilities, the ability to think critically, possess strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to encourage and motivate.
Key responsibilities :
- Provide ownership, accountability, and oversight for assigned reporting of programs and projects.
- Responsible to define, prioritize and deliver cross-functional reporting of projects.
- Able to handle reporting for multiple projects or programs at any one time.
- Provide reporting leadership and mentorship to project team members based on industry standards and best practises.
- Develop and handle detailed project reporting based on management objectives :
- Activities, deliverables, schedules, dependencies, and responsible parties
- Define and track project metrics, resources, overdue tasks, critical achievements, costs, issues, risk
- Monitor timing of critical achievements, roadblocks, quality control and post project review tracking and reporting
- Provide reporting at an enterprise portfolio level to help the organization drive strategic objectives and provide reporting initiatives up to Global
- Able to apply project management or reporting software tools at an expert level to drive automation of reporting
- Consolidate and analyze project data to support effective decision making, on a timely basis
- Ensuring insight led decisions are being made across the PMO in relation to performance and capability matters
- Ensuring that the functional teams are aligned, and delivery reporting put in place to achieve performance improvement targets that have a clear link to the company plan targets
- Maintenance & improvement of the PMO Dashboards, understanding key stakeholders' requirements for reporting and ensuring these are met.
- Schedule and facilitate project reporting meetings.
- Building and maintaining strong internal customer relationships to ensure delivery of quality project reporting in alignment with regional initiatives and requirements across the enterprise.
- Regularly generate and communicate project summary, financials, status, and highlight issues to senior leadership and management.
Job requirements :
- Bachelors or master's degree with a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or Business focus.
- MBA would be an asset.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or equivalent certifications
- Bilingualism would be an asset
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Reporting Analyst required; preferably working in a structured PMO and technical environment
- Worked in a role that combines the use of data analysis, reporting and performance metrics for large (1M - 50M) cross-functional projects successfully
- Good experience of setting up new reporting and measurement processes based on new requirements
- Strong MS Excel skills and MS PowerPoint skills
- Experience in leading enterprise level or large-scale projects or programs involving multiple business teams
- Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an asset
