The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking applications from current Year 2 Faculty of Education students scheduled to graduate in Spring / Summer 2025 for our Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster (JK-8).

Conditional offers to be placed on the Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster will be made to successful applicants until such time as OCT qualifications are confirmed.

Emergency OT work will be an option provided to the successful candidates prior to being granted OCT qualifications. Successful candidates can work as an Emergency OT on available days within their schedule (e.

g., Fridays with no classes) and until their OCT qualifications are confirmed.

Required Qualifications :

Upon graduation, candidates must have the following qualifications as recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers : Primary / Junior or Junior / Intermediate.

Candidates with Intermediate / Senior qualifications only are not eligible to apply for the Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster at this time.
