Program Descriptions

Job Summary:

1. Design an athlete development plan based on the level of athletes.
2. Ensure that each practice is planned based on the development plan.
3. Attend practices/competition to coach athletes.
4. Attend practices/competition to mentor coaches.
5. Manage internal competition schedule and results as well as events.
6. Manage coach communication attendance and timesheets.
7. Communicate with athletes and parents.

Essential Qualifications

Experience & Education:

• NCCP Certified Development Coach certificationOR 4 years of coaching experience at any level
• 1 year of mentoring/training coaches
• Experience communication with athletes coaches and interacting with parents

Knowledge & Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of volleyball technical and tactical concepts (skills techniques rules game play etc.)
• Knowledge of official competition rules & protocols
• Effective planning
• Ability to lead and manage a team

Assets:

• NCCP Advanced Development Coach certification
