Warehouse Supervisor

The OpportunityLounsbury Furniture in Moncton has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor.The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the management and handling of all incoming and outgoing products, placement of produce in warehouse, and distribution functions.

This position is Tuesday to Saturday : Tuesday 8am to 5pm Wednesday 8am to 5pm Thursday 8am to 5pm Friday 8am to 5pm Saturday 8am to 5pmThis position has opportunity for growth into a management role.

Ensure all products that are to be delivered are properly loaded onto the delivery trucks, in accordance with the delivery schedule.

Find solutions to delivery issues. Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.

Maintain accurate inventory counts. Investigate lost or damaged shipments. Ensure delivery truck follow maintenance schedule.

Supervise a team of warehouse employees.QualificationsAt least 5 years of direct work experience in a warehouse supervisor or management function or supply chain management position Working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and transportation management Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation, with good writing skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Team leadership and teambuilding abilities Excellent conflict resolution skills, diplomacy, and tact Excellent planning and resource allocation skills Knowledge of Word and ExcelAbout Lounsbury FurnitureThe Lounsbury Group has successful retail operations in New Brunswick, covering the entire province from north to south.
