SAP ABAP Developer (34738)

Our Government of Canada client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support and enhance enterprise SAP ERP financial and operational systems. The consultant will be responsible for developing, modifying, testing, and supporting ABAP programs across multiple SAP modules within a complex government environment.

Scope of Work

The successful consultant will support SAP ERP systems and develop integrated solutions related to the following modules and functionalities :

SAP CO (Controlling)

SAP FI (Financial Accounting) including :

Asset Accounting (AA)

Special Purpose Ledger (SPL)

SAP FM (Funds Management – BCS)

SAP MM (Materials Management)

SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)

SAP PS (Project Systems)

DCP-ECC cluster custom functionalities, including :

Salary Forecasting Tool (SFT)

Financial Information Solution (FIS) interfaces

The role also includes developing SAP reports based on detailed functional specifications provided by CSA analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ABAP development, support, and technical advisory services to the CSA Financial Systems team
• Respond to inquiries via email, MS Teams, or phone within 2 business days
• Evaluate SAP change requests and provide ABAP effort estimates

Minimum 1 year of hands‑on ABAP programming experience in each of the following SAP modules :

Experience with SAP Enhancement Pack 6, 7, or 8 , demonstrated by :
