Job Profile
The Accounts Manager is responsible for achieving strategic sales and marketing goals, identifying new business opportunities, building key customer relationships, and negotiating and closing business transactions.
The Accounts Manager maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions and all product lines.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Identify market opportunities, contribute to sales plans, and execute plans.
- Develop sales leads and prospects into opportunities.
- Gather requirements from existing customers; use those inputs to lead new product development prioritization plans.
- Lead the development of client proposals in response to EOI / RFI / RFP / RFQs.
- Key interface between customer requests and internal priorities.
- Participate in continuous Improvement initiatives
Qualifications :
- B. Sc. in Engineering or business degree
- 5+ years of business development / sales / marketing experience
- 3+ years of mining industry experience
- Experience with MSOffice suite of products; CRM software packages
