Business Analyst

Adecco is currently seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for a 12-month Contract role based in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will drive the alignment between ERP and Connected Applications, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data flow.

Responsibilities :

• Facilitate working sessions and document results for mapping source fields to target fields between ERP and Connected Applications.
• Perform initial Data QA / completeness checks on finalized functional design specifications.
• Steward completed documents through the approval / sign-off process.
• Clarify questions on functional design specifications for developers.
• Participate in data standards and process creation, reviews, updates, development, and documentation.
• Act as a liaison between project teams, technology teams, and sustainment teams.
• Manage and execute required stakeholder and client engagement across project deliverables.
• Collaborate with project team members to progress projects as per plan and scope.
• Elicit requirements using various methods such as interviews, document analysis, and task analysis.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Possess working knowledge of accounting and finance processes, with ERP experience in SAP ECC or SAP S / 4 HANA as an asset.
• Experience with systems and data integration, including middleware technologies.
• Ability to analyze data and assess impacts due to changing processes.

Requirements :

• At least 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar capacity.
• Direct working experience or project experience in relevant business areas or functions.
• Oil & Gas / Energy industry experience is beneficial.
• Strong organization and relationship-building skills.
• Highly effective communicator with emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in analytical / critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork.
• Ability to understand business architecture and solution knowledge.
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication, facilitation, negotiation, and influence without authority.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
