HR Business Partner

Position: HR Business Partner Location: Ottawa East (Hybrid) Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 annually (based on experience) Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with various stakeholders, contribute to organizational growth, and drive impactful HR initiatives within a dynamic and thriving work environment. The right person for this position will be autonomous, have a strong health & safety background and experience as the stand alone lead for HR project management and implementation. This role requires a bilingual (English/French) candidate. Perks: - Attractive benefits package - 3 weeks of vacation per year - RRSP matching - Clothing allowance - Various discounts Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to assess recruitment needs - Participate in the talent acquisition process, conducting telephone and in-person interviews alongside the recruitment team - Provide guidance to warehouse managers on personnel management, annual evaluations, and labor relations - Assist in implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies with the OHS Coordinator - Carry out the treatment and complete the documentation related to work accidents - Conduct disciplinary meetings and prepare related correspondence Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or related field - Strong understanding of labor law and OHS standards - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy - Team player with a collaborative mindset - Fluency in English and French - Must be willing to travel to multiple locations within Ontario once a month If you meet these qualifications and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment, we encourage you to apply by sending your updated resume to Tanveer Sodhi at ottperm.jobs@quantum.ca.
