The Opportunity
Are you an operator with oil and gas experience in production / maintenance? Vermilion Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator in the Carlyle / Redvers, Saskatchewan area.

Reporting to the Area Foreman, you will operate, monitor, and test oil wells as per Vermilion and regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Using your proven success in your flexibility and adaptability to change, you will assist with operational and engineering strategies to optimize production.
You will be joining an organization that has implemented industry leading technology at our production sites.
What you will do
Inspect and adjust assigned wells; provide routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
Identify hazards and complete reporting and corrective action as required
Optimize and troubleshoot daily well production; propose innovative strategies on how to improve well productivity
Facilitate the daily production input and balancing of well data
Test the measurement of gas, condensate / oil and water production on a daily basis
What you will bring
Five years of relevant industry experience in an operating environment
Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environment expectations and requirements
You will be required to reside within a maximum of 120 km of the Carlyle / Redvers, Saskatchewan area
A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
Formal operational and safety training including : First Aid / CPR, H2S Alive, TDG / WHMIS and Defensive Driving
Software experience in field data capture (Prodview), and electronic flow measurement systems
Preference will be given to candidates who hold SOLIS
Location and other Key Details
You will work in the Carlyle / Redvers Saskatchewan area
The shift schedule is a 9 days on / 5 days off rotation (9-hour shifts)
This position is safety sensitive
