Project Manager – Ottawa LRV role at Alstom.
Reporting to the Project Director.
Responsibilities
- Drive execution of low‑criticality projects according to contractual requirements and customer expectations, maximizing results with respect to cash, margin and on‑time delivery.
- Be accountable for Project Quality, Cost, Delivery and Planning (QCDP) and for Project Environment, Health & Safety (EHS).
- Ensure Alstom legal and contractual rights are protected.
- Seek and propose additional opportunities to the Customer Director / Platform.
- Define project strategy, PMP elaboration and objective allocation to sub‑systems.
- Lead and coordinate project activities from transfer to close‑out : transfer from tender to project, definition of objectives and drivers, resources management, team leading, alignment with contractual requirements, variation order management, risk and opportunity management, progress monitoring and reporting to senior management.
- Represent the project towards Alstom management and comply with applicable rules, standards and the Alstom Project Management Manual.
Customer and External Stakeholders Relationship
Continuously ensure alignment with customer contractual requirements.Act as Alstom representative towards customers and external stakeholders (consortium, JV).Manage contract execution and variation orders towards the customer.Performance Measurements

5+ years experience as sub‑system / component manager, qualified project manager or manager of an operational scope.Experience working in multinational companies and across different business cultures.Competencies & Skills
