YWCA Metro Vancouver is seeking Junior Accountant to provide accounting support to our building communities and programs.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintain Accounts Receivable listing.
- Maintain Security Deposit listing.
- Posting Journal Entries in Sage 300.
- Assist with Grant Reporting.
- Perform Account Analysis and Account Reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting and audit preparation.
- Assist with inventory management of client bus tickets and gift cards.
- Performs other finance duties and support as assigned.
What you’ll need :
- 3-5 years relevant accounting experience or accounting knowledge and education equivalent to a 3rd year accounting student.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong general accounting background.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience in Arcori Property Management system an asset.
- Experience in Sage 300 an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
- The YWCA Metro Vancouver’s COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended and as a result, vaccination from COVID-19 is not required at this time.
However, should circumstances change and the YWCA deem it necessary to reintroduce such policy, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to be eligible to continue performing your duties.
