Scope of the position The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all activities (inventory, storing, receiving, and shipping) are carried out to meet and exceed the Company’s expectations in an efficient and timely manner while meeting all customer requirements.

The successful candidate must have strong organizational and multitasking skills. The mandate

  • Supervise warehouse operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
  • Daily shift operations reporting.
  • Review and coordinate movement of frozen material to and from cold storage.
  • Receive inbound transfers from cold storage daily.
  • Oversee frozen material tempering.
  • Manage full DOMR process from start to finish.
  • Execute on Daily and Monthly cycle counts.
  • Assist with material variance investigations and adjustments.
  • Assist the end-of-year inventory audit.
  • Assist key stakeholders with material or system investigations.
  • Train and coach warehouse employees for improved performance.
  • Conduct regular employee performance reviews.
  • Responsible for shift schedule to include workstation assignments / rotations, new employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, and back-up for absent employees.
  • Coordinate supplying operations with raw material and packaging per daily production schedule.
  • Oversee receiving and shipping schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned. The candidate
  • High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience as a shift supervisor in a warehouse environment, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and draw conclusions from data.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, distribution, and inventory processes.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Understand temperature and weight measures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
