Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Responsibilities :
Mentor and coach data engineers on the team providing technicalguidance and leadership to build an impactful data engineeringteam.
Work with stakeholders andanalysts to document and validate data sources to expand existingdatamarts and warehouses.
Buildtest and maintain data pipelines with a focus on continuousintegration and faulttolerant ETLprocesses.
Design and implementperformant data views and work with stakeholders through the datacertification and risk managementprocess.
Mentor fellow engineersand share technical knowledge within GroupBenefits.
Grow your engineeringskillset by participating in training coaching and code reviewsessions.
Lead the development ofdata integration solutions including API integrations and datafeeds.
Utilize expertise in bigdata and cloud computing to ensure solutions are scalable efficientand effective.
Design develop andimplement data pipelines and ETL processes to extract transform andload data from various sources into Manulifes datawarehouse.
Develop and maintainthe companys data architecture including data models schemas anddatadictionaries.
Whatyou will need tosucceed :
6 years of previous data engineeringexperience.
3 years of experiencebuilding table structures to accommodate multiple data entry pointsserving diverse customer needs.
Advanced experience with SQL Stored Procedures and ETL processesusing SSIS Visual Studio and other data extractiontools.
Strong knowledge of Azureservices such as Databricks ADF ADLS Synapseetc.
Experience in designing anddeveloping scripts for ETL processes and automation in Azure DataFactory Azure Databricks and PySpark using Python Spark andTSQL.
Good understanding of datamodeling and the ability to apply different techniques within acloud platform.
Knowledge ofAzure networking components including Subnets private endpointsfirewalls etc.
Proficiency inusing GIT / Jenkins for deploymentpipelines.
