Seymour Pacific Developments Ltd. is a national leader in land development and residential construction, and we are looking for a Civil Labourer in Portage la Prairie, MB .
The ideal candidate will have experience in residential excavation, grading and utilities, as well as an understanding of civil construction fundamentals.
Your contributions to the team :
- Assist crews with manual tasks including digging, lifting / moving of material or equipment, and other related duties
- Assist with the levelling and compaction of trench backfill around pipes and manholes
- Assist pipe layer with installation of water, storm, and sanitary pipe
- Assist with construction clean up as required
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
What you need to be successful :
- Experience in residential excavation, grading and utilities an asset
- Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Understanding of civil construction fundamentals an asset
- Complete all given tasks in an efficient, safe manner
- Adhere to all company and safety policies
