We are seeking anHVAC Service Technician to join our Service team. Reporting to the
HVAC Service Manager, you will be working with our contractors during installs, start-ups, and helping services run smoothly from day one. Youll provide expert support in the field and over the phone, troubleshoot technical issues, and get hands-on with industry-leading products.
This role is not an on-call position - regular working hours are on-site between 8 : 00am and 5 : 00pm, Monday to Friday.
What You'll Be Doing
Be the expert voice for customers on the ODell product lineupStartup and commission new systems alongside contractors, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safelyOffer virtual or phone support to installers and technicians for assistance with wiring, piping, programming, and general troubleshootingCollaborate with our Sales team to assist with product layout and integration across a wide range of productsConnect with our manufacturers to obtain technical information and support materialsAttend customer sites to provide hands-on support during installs, commissioning, troubleshooting, and additional responsibilities as requiredAssist with processing warranty claims by working closely with contractors and our internal team to keep the process moving in a timely mannerTravel to manufacturer facilities for in-depth product training as requiredOther responsibilities as assignedWhat You Are
Licensed 313A Refrigeration Mechanic and G1 Gas TechnicianMember in good standing with the Ontario College of TradesHold a valid G-class drivers license in good standing and clean driver's abstractWilling and able to travel within our service territories (territory dependent on location of hire)Three to five (3-5) years of experience with commercial and industrial HVAC serviceA solid understanding of computers and Microsoft Office, including openness to learning computers and electronics are a large part of how we support modern HVAC systemsStrong communication skills, both verbally and writtenDetail-oriented and reliable, following through on deadlines and commitments to customersDependable, punctual, and ready to lend a hand to team membersMeet the physical requirements of the role, which include :Lifting up to 50lbsClimbing stairs and ladders, and working at heightsBending, pushing, pulling, and kneelingSitting for long periods of time while drivingWorking in extreme temperatures (heat and cold)Accessibility Commitment
