Business Analyst Specialist- Fixed Income Application Support

Reporting to the Lead BA Specialist and Senior Manager, the Business Analyst Specialist will :

• Lead the identification, documentation, assessment, and monitoring of project dependencies, risks, issues, providing recommendations and documenting decisions.
• Engage with business and IT stakeholders, deep diving into workstream issues to drive resolution.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and sustainment of effective governance processes, including the platform and environment optimization, and manage outstanding initiatives to plan, to swiftly address key risks, issues and changes arising through the program.
• Build and sustain relationships with business and technology partners, vendors, and colleagues to enable continuously improved business performance.
• Production query & incident Support

3-5 + years of knowledge / experience in

Financial services industry (Fixed Income and or Equity experience), delivering projects that have significant IT and operational components is preferred.

• Corporate Actions
• Security Static / BBG
• Trade flow cycle
• Data mapping
• Accounting : Accrued Interest, coupon payments, factor paydown.
• Prepare and execution of test cases / scenarios

• Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science / information technology or other technology related degrees.
