The BCFMA is currently looking for qualified candidates to join our Client Service Representative team in our Kamloops office.
What can I expect as an Client Service Representative?
As the successful candidate, you will be a part of a diverse and inclusive team with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Whether you have 6 months or over 6 years of client service experience; you know how to calmly and professionally handle complaints, interpret and apply policy.
In our world, no day is ever the same, but you can expect a typical day to include some combination of the following :
- As the first point of contact, the Client Service Representative responds accurately to a wide range of enquiries while meeting our client service standards, in a fast-paced high volume environment
- Listening effectively to clients, while asking probing questions to gain a better understanding of our client’s needs.
- Composing replies to email, phone and mail inquiries; prepare tracking forms; forwarding complaints to the appropriate person for more detailed response.
- May interact with other organizations outside of BCFMA, while ensuring client related information remains confidential.
What education and experience will you need to be successful?
- A high school diploma is required; post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
- Strong MS Office skills and proficient keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, utilizing effective conflict resolution skills and building rapport with others.

The starting salary for this position is $44, per year. This is a unionized position and is covered by the BCGEU / BCFMA collective agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
