Here’s your chance to refine and develop your client service and analytical skills as a Permanent Full Time CSR in our Employee Benefits Division.
This role can be based out of our Burnaby or Downtown Vancouver office.
Our Burnaby Still Creek location is our head office and is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park. The office location is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park near Brentwood Town Centre. This location is easily accessible by the Gilmore sky train station with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.
Our Downtown Vancouver location is centrally located in the heart of the business district, in the Bentall office complex. This location is easily accessible by the Burrard and Vancouver City Centre sky train stations with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.
The Responsibilities
Assist Account Executives with all aspects of servicing group and individual accountsMaintain accurate renewal calendar, communicate renewal timelines to Account ExecutivesProcess documentation : renewals, proposals, claims history, customer correspondenceMaintain electronic and paper client / carrier filesEnsure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers before forwarding to the clientContact clients regarding renewals and claims, update changesAnswer account related questions / requests from clients and insurersProvide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiryAttend occasional client meetings with ConsultantsCreate marketing materials and presentations for ConsultantsAct as liaison between Consultants and Corporate clientsThe Requirements
Successful completion of LLQP or willing to obtain2+ years of experience in the employee benefits industryWillingness to learn and take on increasing levels of responsibility, including client communicationIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent CommunicationTyping speed of at least 55 wpmGood working knowledge of underwriting arrangementsHas a high attention to detailComfortable conducting employee education sessions and client administration orientation sessionsGood understanding of employee benefits plan analyticsExperience with flex plans is an assetOur Culture Starts with You
