Robert Half is actively searching for an experienced and driven Accounts Payable Specialist to join an innovative organization located in the Ottawa-West region.
This is a full-time / permanent role with a mainly work from home model.

Responsibilities :
- Maintaining an accurate vendor list
- Entering vendors invoices
- Preparing vendor account reconciliation; business bank account & Credit Card reconciliation
- Issuing Purchase Orders
- Ordering office and vendors supplies
- Prepare journal entries
- Prepare month end closing
- Assist with compliance audits / reviews
- Assist with financial reporting and special accounting projects as required
- Fulfill other duties as required
Job Requirements : Qualifications :
Qualifications :
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Accounts Payable
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal skills able to interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, clients, and partners
Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and accounting software
Knowledge of SAP would be an asset
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
