Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.
Join our awarded Transit team as a Senior Architectural Technologist - Transit Facilities. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a fast-paced, driven team with a proven success record in both design and technical excellence! The successful candidate will offer experience being involved in large complex building projects end to end along with strong working drawings and BIM delivery this will be imperative.
You will have hands-on experience with detailed drawings and implementation through BIM platforms.

Role accountabilities :

- Develop architectural working drawing packages.
- Detail development
- Provide constructability input.
- Coordinate with other architectural and engineering disciplines and work streams
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants
- Support the project manager on field services and construction administration.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Architectural Technology or Degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience at an architectural firm
- Strong hands-on experience with architectural detailing and multidisciplinary coordination on large complex projects
- Strong hands-on experience with developing of architectural working drawings
- Expertise with Revit Architecture, Revit Structure & Revit MEP as demonstrated by sophisticated use of software
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
- Experience with Transit Facility design will be considered an asset.
