Clean and maintain work space
Record production information
Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products
Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures
Interpret blueprints / specifications / standards and written technical instructions
Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained
Check final assembly for finish, labelling and packaging methods
Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment
