OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Pharmacy, the Drug Access Facilitator facilitates, coordinates, and evaluates the available programs and resources to access medication reimbursement assistance for MGH patients, with a primary focus on emergency department patients. This role will be a central resource for physicians, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists. The incumbent will play a key role in advising patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals regarding medication access and reimbursement and will actively engage with government, community, and private agencies that provide medication financial assistance. Similar positions to this may be known as Drug Access Navigator, Medication Reimbursement Specialist, or BPMH Technician.

EDUCATION
- A registered regulated healthcare professional with a degree in a relevant healthcare field, required.
