Technical Sales Engineer
THE COMPANY
Gestion VFC is a growing start-up that offers turnkey engineering services. They act as a platform that makes it possible to launch and support all types of projects with a positive impact on the environment.
The majority of its clients work in the residual materials management sector and, more specifically, the recycling / recovery of these materials.
Main challenges
Under the responsibility of the president, the holder of the position exercises the following functions :
- Plan, coordinate with suppliers, document and monitor the progress of your projects;
- Communicate with existing customers and potential customers;
- Study the technical and financial feasibility of projects;
- Participate in writing test reports, developing preliminary plans, calculating basic mass balances, etc.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, established budgets and the profitability of projects;
- Optimize operations; Example : movement time analysis, replacement of equipment, integration of a new sorting technology / process, improvement of maintenance, cost and risk analysis (etc.);
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all times, both on a technical and human level;
- Participate in promotional events, congresses and certain sectoral technical committees;
- Support the customer in setting up new recycling operations;
- Participate in requests for grants and / or public / private funding;
- Any other related task.
TRAINING
Has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Experience and QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Has at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field or in the manufacturing field;
- Experience with sorting centers is considered an asset;
- Be a member of the OIQ
- Knowledge of software : Office Suite; AutoCAD;
- Has an advanced French and intermediate English level;
- Has his driving license.
