Job description

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Person whose main functions are to carry out the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, verification, repair, calibration, construction, maintenance and modification of biomedical electronic equipment. He / she makes the necessary recommendations for their proper functioning, including their safety aspect. He / she may also, if necessary, perform similar tasks on industrial electronic equipment. It covers all the establishment's services.

REQUIREMENTS

Education :

Must hold a college diploma (DEC) in an electronics technique such as electronics technologies, computer systems technologies or industrial electronics technologies from a school recognized by the competent ministry.

Experience :

Two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

Knowledge and Abilities :

Good manual skills and dexterity;

Meticulousness, precision and attention to details;

Ability to work under pressure;

Analytical;

Autonomy, initiative and judgment;

Ability to work in collaboration with all colleagues and external partners;

Relevant knowledge in computer;

Knowledge of Cree culture, language, and social / health issues in Eeyou Istchee is an asset;

LANGUAGE

Fluent in English and French;

Fluency in Cree is an asset.

OTHER

Available to travel inside and outside of the Eeyou Istchee territory as required;

Possibility of telework.

This position offers the possibility of telework, depending on operational needs and after agreement with the employer. Please note that this is not a permanent condition of the position and the employer reserves the right to request regular physical presence in the office.
