Responsibilities
- Transport, deliver, and install homecare equipment (including oxygen cylinders) to patients and institutions while maintaining safe operation of the company vehicle.
- Deliver quality patient care by educating patients on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the equipment.
- Support team effort by assisting other team members to satisfy internal and external customers.
- Comply with vehicle policies, highway rules, and safety procedures.
- Inspect vehicle before and after use; document inspections; maintain a clean vehicle stocked with PPE, safety equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Meet client needs by delivering products according to schedule.
- Set up homecare equipment at patients' homes; provide training; respond to client requests; conduct technical checks.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for technical visits, equipment exchanges, deliveries, and pickups.
- Execute preventative maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions; manage downstream workflow as needed.
- Perform warehouse duties : stocking shelves, shipping / receiving, cleaning and disinfecting equipment.
- Document client care with clear, accurate, timely delivery records.
- Maintain client confidentiality according to policy and regulations.
- Adhere to infection control policies and protocols.
- Continuously improve branch operations; participate in quality improvement activities.
- Comply with certification requirements and recommend actions.
- Provide after‑hour service via on‑call rotation.
- Support remote patient assessment with RRT and other health professionals.
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure effective product use.
- Contribute to a safe work environment; report unsafe occurrences.
- Ensure correct vehicle loading and unloading in compliance with safety and legislative requirements.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse or other allied health professional considered an asset.Care Aid Certification considered an asset.College Diploma and / or equivalent education and experience.Strong written and oral communication skills in English.Basic computer / tablet skills.Knowledge of respiratory home‑care equipment preferred.Willingness to learn and understand homecare equipment used by patients.Basic mechanical / repair skills.2‑3 years recent driving / delivery experience.2‑3 years customer service experience in a healthcare setting.Clean and valid driver’s abstract.Additional Information

Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualification and other job‑related reasons. This is a union position with a wage of $30.40 per hour and opportunities for advancement.
