Your main objective as a Product Owner, Consumer Solution is to develop and drive the implementation of standard processes and procedures across Product to ensure efficiency, consistency and clarity across the team, and ensure the continued strategic alignment between the services we offer and the needs of the Canadian marketplace.
What you'll do
- Develop and drive the implementation of standard processes and procedures across Product to ensure efficiency, consistency and clarity across the team.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, research which systems and tools are best to meet said requirements, and either directly or through influence of others, drive creation and distribution of reports to give the team visibility and transparency of measurements and results.
- Analyze key reports to identify anomalies and variances and research the reasons behind the results.
- Communicate with / report out to internal stakeholders including product managers and leadership to aid in decision making.
- Create high level documentation and product user guides for systems used by Product (i.e., Aha!, Meraki, etc.) to ensure Product understands the importance of said system along with a consistent approach in how data is input and updated with a goal of accurate and consistent reporting.
- Partner with product managers and finance on NPI reporting to ensure accuracy of report and timeliness of forecasts.
- In partnership with management, develop standard approach to creating and updating product roadmaps and roll-out to existing and new team members.
- Review OKR reports and identify common metrics used across the team. Create and communicate a standard approach to calculating common metrics to ensure consistency across the Product Team.
- As needed, drive meeting material standardization for key meetings across Product (i.e., quarterly marketing / product meeting).
- Drive data accuracy by defining metrics for the Product Management team to leverage (what is the right data to pull, how do we analyze it, etc.).
- Continuously seek to improve processes and reporting across the product organization and drive positive change.
What experience you need
- 2+ years of experience in a product owner / architect role, defining and improving processes and driving implementation.
- Proficient in big data analytics, problem solving, adjudication models, credit scoring solutions.
- Exposure to the financial services industry.
- Hands-on experience helping manage and drive enterprise project deliveries.
