Senior instructional designer Jobs in Toronto, ON

We are assisting our client in locating a Sr. Instructional Designer with expertise in Change Management to create two eLearning modules as part of a global change management initiative. These modules will support employees and people leaders in adopting new ways of working, aligned with the organization’s broader “Way of Working” transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to design and develop two eLearning modules (20-30 minutes each). The first module will be for all employees and focus on individual actions, behaviors, and mindsets to support change, even without a formal change management role. The second will be for people leaders emphasizing enabling behavioral habits, providing nudges, and offering practical tactics for supporting their teams through change.
• Employ a consultative approach to challenge assumptions and push for innovative, impactful learning solutions.
• Develop interactive and engaging content using tools like Articulate Storyline or Rise, potentially incorporating a “choose-your-own-adventure” approach to address diverse maturity levels across global markets.
• Integrate critical thinking opportunities and practical applications of change management frameworks into the learning experience.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify and address content needs, leveraging existing materials or creating new content in collaboration with SMEs.
• Ensure content aligns with the psychology of change already introduced and builds on it to drive actionable behaviors.

The pay range is $60 to $65 per hour on an independent contractor basis and is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
