Position: Health and Safety CoordinatorLocation: OttawaSalary: $60K to $80KIndustry: ConstructionOur construction client in Ottawa is looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to support safety programs and ensure compliance across multiple active sites. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building a strong safety culture.Please note: Construction industry experience is non-negotiable.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with OHSA, WSIB, and MLITSD regulations.- Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and audits.- Support development and rollout of safety policies.- Deliver orientations and training (WHMIS, Working at Heights).- Investigate incidents and coordinate corrective actions.- Maintain emergency response plans and PPE inventory.- Collaborate with site teams and subcontractors.- Maintain accurate safety documentation.Qualifications:- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety- WSIB JHSC Certification- Minimum 2 years of construction health & safety experience (required)- Strong knowledge of OHSA and WSIB requirements- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle- Strong organizational and communication skillsPlease send your resume to Tanveer Sodhi at Tanveer.Sodhi@quantum.caREFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
