Management Trainee Position (DOT Required)

UniFirst is currently recruiting for a Management Trainee. In this position, the right candidate will learn virtually every facet of our business, our operations, and our Textile Services Industry.

  • Learn how to manage all aspects of operations, including staffing and budgets
  • Learn all requirements of the RSR position and successfully run your own route
  • Learn all requirements of the DSM position and successfully manage your own team of routes
  • Become proficient in the Professional Sales process and in soliciting new customer accounts
  • Learn all requirements of the Sales Manager position
  • Learn all requirements of our Production Department, and Production Manager position
  • Learn how to recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensure mutual respect, recognitions, and a family culture among all Team Partners
  • Participates in developing and executing testing related to new billing and CRM system
  • Works with management, business users, and information systems group to analyze and correct data quality issues for the conversion between current billing system and new billing and CRM system
  • Develops detailed documentation on how to correct each data quality issue

Works with UniFirst location(s) staff on correcting data quality issues prior, during and post conversion of new billing and CRM system

Assist with new billing and CRM system deployment by becoming a system 'expert'. During system rollout will be involved in on-site user training

Support field post training / conversion with follow up visits, and problem remediation Participates in standards and procedures development and refinement

  • Assist with tasks related to coordinating new / renewal National Account initiatives
  • Assist with tasks related to coordinating adoption of new company acquisitions
  • Assist with general location and personnel training and evaluations

Qualifications

  • Able to obtain DOT certification.
  • BA / BS required, business-related preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer programs.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel.
  • Candidates must also be willing to relocate if necessary.
  • Proven experience with writing procedures and documentation.
  • Proven experience with training.
  • Strong business sense.
  • Proven communication and organizational skills.
  • Ideal applicant will have a thorough understanding of UniFirst’s existing operational systems and procedures.
